FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Can I get professional assistance to draft my document instead of doing it myself?
We'll be glad to draft your document for you! Drafting fees start at $35.00 depending on the complexity and length of your document. Contact Us or Call Now to let us know how we can help!
  • What is a Registrant Identification Number (RIN) Sworn Letter?
RIN is used to identify business-owned vehicles. This allows vehicles used for work purposes to be registered to a business. To register a vehicle for use by a business in Ontario, you need to request a Registrant Identification Number (RIN) for the business, in lieu of a driver’s licence. Service Ontario currently requires a notarized authorization request letter in order to register a vehicle in the name of a corporation.
  • What should I include in my Registrant Identification Number (RIN) Sworn Letter?
Following the provided Free Template, your letter must include the following:
  1. Your company's letterhead
  2. Date, Company Address and Phone Number
  3. Business Number/Name
  4. Authority/title of individual granting authority (“I have the authority to bind the corporation”)
  • Can I digitally Notarize my Registrant Identification Number (RIN) Sworn Letter?
YES - when your document is ready to be signed and notarized/commissioned, book your Online Appointment and get your document signed in 5 minutes!

After booking your appointment, you will meet Notary Public by video call, show your ID, then electronically sign the letter.
